A PROUD MOMENT FOR SCOTT CHRISTIAN HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL
It gives us immense pleasure and pride to share the happy news that our Scott Christian Higher Secondary School student, Master B. C. Sri Hareesh, has been selected among the 22 probables for the Tamil Nadu State U-16 Boys Basketball Team for the 41st Youth (U-16) National Basketball Championship 2026.
Among these 22 probables, 12 players will finally be selected to represent the Tamil Nadu State Team. We wish Sri Hareesh every success in securing his place in the final team.
After nearly 25 years, our school’s basketball has once again reached this prestigious level. It is particularly encouraging that two players from Kanyakumari District have been included among the Tamil Nadu probables, with Sri Hareesh proudly representing Scott Christian Higher Secondary School.
Our sincere appreciation and gratitude go to our dedicated basketball trainers, Mr. Pradeep and Mr. Michael, both proud alumni of our school. Their tireless commitment, dedication and coaching, day and night, have played a commendable role in nurturing our students and bringing them to this level.
On behalf of the Scott Christian Higher Secondary School Alumni Association (SCHSSAA), we extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to:
Master B. C. Sri Hareesh
